Calcutta, April 15, 2011 (Washington Bangla Radio) On the occasion of Bengali new year (Bangla Nababarsho) this Pohela Boisakh, creative writer, painter and elocutionist Brototi Paul recites three of her new poems for Washington Bangla Radio's audience:
  • Subho Nababarsho
  • Basundhara
  • Daliter Pujo

Brototi won her first award in a recitation competition at age 3. Since then, she has won numerous awards in elocution at local and regional levels.  Her first book ASWAD, a book of poems, and her second book ATO TUKU ASHA – a novel, were inaugurated at the Kolkata International Book Fair in 2004 and 2005.
