Farid BangabashiBorn in 1975 to Gaziul Haque and Mrs. Sharifa Khatun in the distric of Comilla, P.S - Laksam, Village - Atakara in Bangladesh, Farid completed secondary school in 1992 and enrolled in Chittagong Government City College for graduate studies.

Farid is a natural at singing. From his childhood, he started singing solo, with no instrumental accompaniment, in various shows and functions. His deeply rural Bangladeshi environment did not offer much opportunity for musical training before Farid started his high-school education at Laksam Pilot High School. Initially he started taking music lessons from his friend Late Feroz Alam.

Farid BangabashiAfter moving to the sprawling Bangladeshi metropolis of Chittagong, Farid continued his music training at the Zila Shiplpakala Academy, Sangeet Bhaban, Ustad Masud Hosen, and Samiran Chakraborty. He also started to learn to play the Piano from Mr. Siraz, team leader of Recent Musical Band.

Farid BangabashiSubsequently in 2001 Farid auditioned with, and was selected as an artist for Radio Bangladesh in and Bangladesh Television’s Chittagong Center as a Vocal artist.

In 2003, Farid was enrolled by Bangladesh Television (BTV) Dhaka as a Vocal Artist, Lyrist, Music Composer and Music Director.

Farid BangabashiAs a Music Director, Farid has directed worked with renowned artistes like Late Subal Das, Sattya Shaha and Sk . Sadi Khan. Farid’s favorite lyricists are Abu Hena Mostafa Kamal, Nazrul Islam Babu, Gazi Mazharul Anwar, S.M Hedayet, K.M Chand Mia, Rushmi Chowdhury and his favorite music composers are Subal Das, Khan Ataur Rahman, Sk Sadi Khan, Sattya Saha, Ahmed Imtiaz Bulbul, Alauddin Ali. My favorite Singer is Manna Dey, Abdul Alim, Runa Laila, Sabina Yesmin, Sayed Abdul Hadi, and Andrew Kishore.
