Mar 17, 2010 (Washington Bangla Radio) Temples in the Clouds is a 2008 Documentary Short Film directed by Sir Jim Mallinson and Enrico Patuzzi recording the experiences of the directors' visits to remote temples in the Dhauladhar range of the Himalayas in the pursuit of travel and their passion for paragliding. The ancient temple of Himani Chamunda Devi at 8,202 feet is one such temple, which is a huge challenge to get to by road from the Kangra valley, and an even greater challenge to reach via paragliders. The film documents the heroic achievement of the two friends who strap cameras to themselves and set sail on fragile paragliders to reach this virtually inaccessible temple, and offers some stunning aerial footage which we film-watchers now have the opportunity to see what the directors saw.
