Mar 17, 2010 (Washington Bangla Radio) The multiple international award winning and critically acclaimed film LAHORE (2010) has a release date of March 19, 2010 in India. However, the film will not be released in Pakistan at all, in spite of extensive scenes including the climax in Pakistan. Planet Bollywood reports, "the censors in the neighbouring country found Pakistan's portrayal in the film negative, said the movie's producer Vivek Khatkar."

Lahore hits the theaters on March 19, 2010 along with two other eagerly anticipated films - Love Sex Aur Dhokha (LSD) and Shaapit.

Lahore (2010) is  Directed by Sanjay Puran Singh Chauhan with music by M M Kreem. The starcast includes Farooq Sheikh, Nafisa Ali, Shraddha Nigam, Ashish Vidhyarthi, Nirmal Pandey, Sabyasachi Chakraborty, Sourav Shukla, Kelly Dorji, Anahad, Sushant  Singh, Pramod Moutho and more.

It is great to see our own Tollywood acting powerhouse Sabyasachi Chakraborty in an important role in an internationally acclaimed film.

Lahore is based around the sport of kick-boxing and competitions between arch rivals India and Pakistan. The tag line reads "Beyond Borders, Between Nations Lies A Battle to End All Wars."

The multiple award-winning Lahore debuted at the 2009 Salento International Film Festival in Italy.
