The Indian SONY Entertainment TV channel has launched a new Hindi TV Show called GODH BHARAAI broadcast Mon-Thu at 7:30 PM.

God Bharai explores a traditional Indian family's concerns about preserving its lineage and bloodline in the context of a modern daughter-in-law, unable to bear her own child, considers adoption as an option. The family members are concerned about this choice, and the show deals with the dynamics and reconciliation of an adopted child into the family.

26-year old daughter-in-law Astha married to Shivam makes the difficult choice. Ramakant Agnihotri is the patriarch of the family and is the authoritarian head of the family. His wife is Bhaghyashree, mother-in-law of Astha. Ramakant and Bhaghyasree have three children, Shivam, Gaurav and Kavita. The dynamics are played out between these characters and their spouses.
