The lead star cast and crew of the Bengali children's film were  present at the venue. The father-son duo of Sabyasachi and Gaurav Chakrabarty was spotted together at the venue. Sabyasachi, fondly known as ‘Benu da’, was composed and Gaurav excited about his new release. When asked about his expectations from the film, Gaurav said "A good children's movie does not come often from the Bengali film Industry. But this film is really a treat for children, and one can watch this with the entire family.”

Supernatural Bengali films are doing really well recently. Films like ‘Bhooter Bhabisyat’ and ‘Jekhane Bhooter Bhoy’ have done good business. The makers of Chayamoye are counting on the good time that ghosts are having on the silver screen in Bengal.

When Sabyasachi was asked why supernatural films are doing so well in Tollywood, he said “Supernatural films have always been a favorite genre for the audience of all ages. We have a special kind of love for the ghost. That is why films involving apparitions are always so popular.”

Director Haranath Chakrabarty and writer Sirsendu Mukherjee were present at the premiere. Haranath was seen greeting guests and giving bytes to the media with delight, while Sirsendu Mukherjee was quieter.

Sabyasachi's wife and younger son Arjun Chakrabarty were also present at the premiere, as was actress Ridhima Ghosh.

Sirsendu Mukherjee said he is happy to see the way his novel has been adapted into a feature film. ‘It is nice to see the film has not significantly deviated from my story. I am sure people will like it.”

The happy faces of the crowd at the end of the premiere of the Indian Bangla movie indicated that the words of the author are going to turn out to be true.
