Soumitra took out as one of the possible reasons behind Feluda’s acceptance to the world, “It is really a great mystery to be solved that why the character ‘Feluda’ got so much fame and cut through all the age groups. Perhaps, the manner how the character was conceived, with its intelligence, attitude, wit, and the use of ‘magajastra’ made it unique. The individuality which Ray used as a great thinker to create ‘Feluda’ was different, which is the reason why in spite of the rolling popularity of ‘Byomkesh’, Feluda still held its popularity.”
Sabyasachi Chakrabarty shared his view regarding the grand success of Feluda series at the event, “I am still investigating how an imaginary character like Feluda could get so much recognition. In fact nobody but Ray can reveal it. If others could get to know it so easily, the Feluda character could be woven by anyone else. It was the superhero Ray, who had the answer. He was a masterpiece in Indian cinema. His timing, discipline, intelligence and perfection led him to the peak of success.”
Sandip Ray expressed on this context, “His skill, intelligence and his talents made him a mysterious blueprint, which was impossible to be resolved.”
