Nominations for the 82nd Annual Academy Awards 2010, popularly known as Oscar Awards, were announced on February 2, 2010 at the Samuel Goldwyn Theater, Beverly Hills, CA. The announcements were hosted by Tom Sherak, President, Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, and Hollywood actress Anne Hathaway. There are 10 nominees for the Best Picture award, proving that 2009 was a spectacular year for Cinema.

The actual 2010 Academy Awards ceremony will be broadcast on ABC TV Channel in the USA on Sunday March 7 2010 at 8 p.m Eastern.
