Veteran actor-producer Anil Kapoor is producing the Sonam Kapoor - Abhay Deol starrer AISHA (2010) upcoming Hindi movie directed by Rajshree Ojha.

AISHA has an anticipated release date of Aug 6, 2010.

Indian-American film-maker Rajshree Ojha came into limelight in 2007 with her Bollywood debut feature film Chaurahen (Crossroads).

Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor is the elder sister of Rhea Kapoor and a daughter of Anil Kapoor. Abhay Deol is Dharmendra's nephew, a cousin of Sunny, Bobby, Esha and Ahana Deol.

Sonam Kapoor has previously appeared in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 2006 blocbuster Saawaria (Buy DVD) with Ranbir Kapoor, Salman Khan, Rani Mukherjee, Zohra Sehgal and Begum Para, and Rakesh Mehra's 2009 film DELHI 6 (Buy DVD) with Abhishek Bachchan, Rishi Kapoor, Vijay Raaz, Om Puri, Waheeda Rehman, Divya Dutta, Supriya Pathak, Pavan Malhotra, Tanvi Azmi, Geeta Bisht, Sheeba Chaddha, Prem Chopra, Rajat Dholakia, Deepak Dobriyal, Atul Kulkarni, Akhilendra Mishra, Khalid Mohamed, Daya Shankar Pandey and K K Raina. Aisha is Sonam's 3rd feature film.

Abhay Deol recently scored a superhit with his role in Anurag Kashyap's DEV D (2009) (Buy DVD) with Mahie Gill, Kalki Koechlin, Dibyendu Bhattacharya, Parakh Madan.

Sonam Kapoor Aisha as Emma Aisha is based on Jane Austen's popular novel EMMA (buy the book online). Emma has been remade many times, including Douglas McGrath's great 1996 adaptation starring Gwyneth Paltrow, James Cosmo, Greta Scacchi, Alan Cumming and Denys Hawthorne (buy DVD). This delightfully fun and lighthearted comedy is based on the story that inspired the hit movie CLUELESS! Dazzling Gwyneth Paltrow (SHAKESPEARE IN LOVE, THE ROYAL TENENBAUMS) shines as EMMA, a mischievous young beauty who sets up her single friends. Funny thing is ... she's not very good at it! So when Emma tries to find a man for Harriet (Toni Collette -- THE SIXTH SENSE, ABOUT A BOY), she makes a hilariously tangled mess of everyone's lives. You'll enjoy all the comic confusion ... until Emma herself falls in love, finally freeing everyone from her outrageously misguided attempts at matchmaking.
