Kolkata, Jan 30 (Washington Bangla Radio) - Designer Agnimitra Paul and critically acclaimed filmaker Subrata Sen recently came together to launch ‘A Thousand Unspoken Words’,  the debut novel of Paulami Dutta Gupta.

Paulami said about her book, “Thousand Unspoken Words is a journey that takes you deeper into the life and mind of a creative person and a fallen hero, and is based in Kolkata. The champion of the underdogs, a writer who uses the pseudonym Musafir is famous in Kolkata. His incisive criticism of injustices around him earn him many enemies but he holds on to his ideals above all else. Scathing attacks at his books and a night of hide-and-seek from political goons leads Musafir on a path he never liked, far away from his ideals. He runs away leaving behind his lover Tilotamma and a lot of passionate fans. He chooses comfort of money over travails of being true to his ideals. The hero falls.”
