Brishtir Abritti Sankalan (A bunch of Bengali poetry recitation by Brishti)

Brishti,a student of the famous Bengali elocutionist Srimati Bratati  Bandyopadhyay was passionate about recitation since her childhood. She  had  performed in All India Radio,Doordarshan Kendra Kolkata &   “Sishu Mela” organized by Govt of West Bengal when she was a child.Other than poetry and recitation she has passion for music and culture.

Brishti performs in various stages of West Bengal regularly. She can recite for 2-3 hours at a stretch and that too from her memory.Light,Music and Choreography are integral part of her stage performance. One of her excellent audio creations “APARAJITA” is a collection of poetry that reflects  women's journey and empowerment through the ages.In this album she has aptly put her own presence with confidence in most of the poems.
‘‘I am simply bowled over by the way she has built the bridge between different genres of poetry to portray womanhood,a girls quest for identity travelling through different genres of poems from the Bard of Bengal to Krishna Basu. There had not been such an effort earlier ’’-her proud guru Smt.
Bandyopadhyay expressed her view on 'Aparajita'.
