Arpita Sil is studying towards a Master's degree in Bengali. Other than recitation and elocution, Arpita also loves listening to music, painting, and collecting teddy bears one of which you will see peeking from behind her picture on right.
Arpita started reciting from the year 2000, and is a student of the Bengali recitation and elocution icon Bratati Bandopadhyay. She has previously taken lessons in recitation from Satinath Mukhopadhyay for a couple of years.
Now an accomplished reciter herself, Arpita teaches young aspiring reciters and elocutionists and is excited to see many children having a keen interest in the field. She also anchors and reads prose in cultural functions in Kolkata on request.
Arpita can be reached at aripitasil10 at gmail.
