Anindya Banerjee's GOLEMALE PIRIT KORO NA Bangla Comedy Movie Revealed (WBRi Film Preview)

Kolkata, Jan 14, 2013 (Washington Bangla Radio) After the grand success of ‘Chaplin’ and ‘Ami Shubhas Bolchi’ Indian Bangla movie director Anindya Banerjee is all set to release his latest film ‘Golemale Pirit Koro Na’. With this film Anindya is indulging in the comedy genre for the first time. The cast and crew of the film came together at a city hotel on 11th January to introduce their film to the media. Indications are the film will be a hilarious adventure.

Newcomer Bengali actress Sumita will debut with this film. She revealed to WBRi that her entry in the film Industry has happened all of a sudden and being a family friend of the director has made it easier for her to bag the role. In the film the pretty lady will be seen going nuts for a guy named ‘Prem’.

Acclaimed actor Jisshu Sengupta is coming back on the silver screen after a long time - his last film was ‘Noukadubi’. Jishu told WBRi, “I was busy with some other projects like television serials and all. It is nice to return to the big screen with such a film.”

Director Anindya Banerjee told WBRi, “this film is about total pandemonium. The audience is sure to laugh their hearts out while watching the movie. The script has been purposefully designed for that.”

When asked about how he feels about making a comedy film, Banerjee said, "Comedy films are very difficult to present. A slight error of timing can spoil humorous elements. But comedies are one of the most entertaining genres of films and I would be happy if the film can entertain the audience to the fullest.”

The film features an ensemble star cast. Jishu Sengupta, Payel Sarkar and Sumita lead the cast, with Ritwick Chakrabarty, Rajatava Dutta, Kanchan Mullick, Sudipa Basu, Manashi Sinha and Subhrajit Dutta in interesting roles.

Banerjee said the film has a great script and the story and screenplay by Anuja Chatterjee are going to be a great attraction of the film. R.Bhagat is the cinematographer of the film.

With Golemale, Payel Sarkar will appear in two consecutive comedy films. She very recently delivered a hilarious performance in the laugh riot "Bawali Unlimited" by Sujit Mondal. Interestingly Payel also shared screen space with Rajatava in Bawali. Golemale will also be the first film where Payel and Jishu will be seen together.

Anindya is known for his contribution to television, and has tasted success with his very first film ‘Chaplin’ which dealt with the touching story of a poor father and his son. He repeated the feat with Mithun Chakrabarty in ‘Ami shubhas Bolchi’, a bold film with an unconventional theme challenging Bengalees to try to regain their lost glory.  Now with this comedy flick banerjee is again setting out to prove his versatility and the audience expects a wonderful film from him.
