Mumbai, Jan 30 (IBNS): Karan Malhotra directed Karan Johar’s ‘Agneepath’ – the remake of Mukul Anand’s flick in 1990 – is creating quite a lot of buzz in the tinsel town ever since it hit the silver screens.
The newest mom-to-be in Bollywood Shilpa Shetty is the latest celebrity to have watched the movie.
The ecstatic Shetty who is enjoying her annual ski holiday in Courchevel, a ski resort located in the commune of Saint-Bon-Tarentaise in the French Alps, tweeted “ Watched Agneepath last nite,Whoa!What a film,performances par excellence,great narrative.Full on "Paisa vasool",tk a bow @kjohar25”.
The movie collected 21.76 crore net on its opening day thereby breaking the record set by Salman Khan’s Bodyguard which grossed around 21.25 crore on its opening day.
The movie produced by veteran filmmaker Karan Johar stars Hrithik Roshan in the role of Vijay Deenanath Chauhan - originally played by legendry Amitabh Bachchan.
On the other hand, Sanjay Dutt plays the character of Kancha Cheena which was played by Danny Denzongpa in the original movie.
Apart from them, it also features Priyanka Chopra, Rishi Kapoor, Om Puri and Zarina Wahab among others.
