Kolkata Bengali Movie Achin Pakhi Manali Dey Subrat Dutt

Parallel / art-house film maker Anjan Das is directing the upcoming Bangla cinema Achin Pakhi starring Manali Dey and Subrat Dutt.

Manali Dey is well known for her role as Mouri in the superhit STAR TV Bangla serial Bou Kotha Kao. She has recently joined the Tollywood Bengali movie industry, and has a lead role in the sci-fi Bengali thriller Rajdrohi.

Subrat Dutt recently received the best actor award at Cairo for Madholal Keep Walking.

Anjan Das's Sanjhbatir Rupkathara starring Indrani Haldar and Soumitra Chatterjee was critically acclaimed, as was Sainik. You can get the DVD here.
