I never shifted base to Kolkata - Kolkata is anyway my base - it's my hometown - and that's how achanak I got the offer and I loved the project, the story and everything and I said why not - let's do it. And then I got so involved with the film, and today it's the release, yesterday was the premiere, and a lot of attention, nervousness ..."

On her deglamorized role in Pa Ma Ga Re Sa, Reshmi says: "Dekhiye - see - for me, what is glamour? It doesn't matter. Anyway people have seen me looking glamorous on screen many a times over so many years now. But for me what mattered is the role and my performance. If I am doing a good job ... and Hello ! By the way - when people have seen me on screen they have said you are looking beeeautiful ! ... that's the reason if you feel it's a deglamorized role I feel it was quite a glamorized role - glamorous in the sense it was highly full of performance - lot's of versatality in the role - and I enjoyed it!"

About the character Paromita played by Reshmi in Pa Ma Ga Re Sa: "It was quite an interesting character for which I said yes - initially they had offered me the character of Rai seeing me on screen glamorous wearing short dresses and everything - then I said enough of it - if I have to do - that too in Kolkata - I want to look proper Bengali, I want to speak proper Bengali, no English no nothing, karon aami Bangali"
