Raj Mukherjee is directing the forthcoming Bangla film Prithibi Amake Chai starring Jaya Ghosh (Hotat Nirar Janya), Sreelekha Mitra, Amit Banerjee and others.

Jaya Seal Ghosh is wife of acclaimed percussionist Bikram Ghosh. Bickram is appearing as himself in the upcoming Bangla movie Pa Ma Ga Re Sa.

Transitioning into movies from acting in TV Serials, Jaya has played well appreciated roles previously, including her feature film debut in Buddhadev Dasgupta's Uttara (2000). She has also tried her luck in a few Hindi movies, but box office success has eluded her.
