Challenge (2009) Bengali MovieDeepak Adhikari, popularly known as DEV, born in rural Bengal and currently one of the reigning Bengali film heroes, has been awarded the Best Male Actor award at Anandalok  Awards 2009 for the Bangla film Challenge.

The Bengali blockbuster Challenge picked up 4 awards in total.

Dev has a popular mass appeal, particularly to the younger generation. Minors from West Bengal, even 8th grade students, are often seen posting love letters to Dave in various popular web-sites around the internet.

The tag line of Challenge was "Challenge ... nibi na sala".

Dev was paired with actress Subhasree in Challenge. Challenge is directed by Raj Chakraborty (Chirodini Tumi Je Amar).
