Interview: Tannistha Chatterjee, Indian actress

The Pune-born Princess of Parallel Cinema Tannishtha Chatterjee arrived in the world of Indian and International cinema with her first film Swaraj receiving an Indian national award, followed by often award-winning roles in Bibar (Bengali, 2006), Brick Lane, Shadows of Time / Schatten der Zeit, Partho Sengupta's Let the Wind Blow / Hawa Aney Dey,Strings, Kasturi and so on. Her recent movies Bombay Summer and The White Elephant have been received with critical acclaim, and her upcoming film Dev Benegals "Road, Movie" is eagerly awaited by movie lovers, as is Ravi Kumar's Bhopal: Prayer for Rain about the Bhopal disaster with Martin Sheen.
