Chitah Yajnesh Shetty to Conduct Martial Art Seminar in Idaho

Grandmaster Chitah Yajnesh Shetty at Empty Hand Combat

Mumbai, Dec 9 (Washington Bangla Radio) - Bollywood martial arts teacher, actor, director, producer and stuntman Grandmaster Chitah Yajnesh Shetty from India will host a two-hour training starting 10 AM on Dec 20 at Empty Hand Combat, 1124 1st St S, Nampa, ID 83651, USA. The session will include unique movie stunts and choreography of fight scenes seen typically in Indian commercial cinema. This will be followed by a training on Qinna (Chin na) joint locking techniques.

Rajiv Gandhi Excellence Award winner Shetty has trained numerous Bollywood, Indian and international stars for action sequences and stunts, including leading model, singer and film actress Priyanka Chopra who plays FBI Agent Alex Parrish in TV thriller series Quantico.

Shetty is founder, president and technical director of Mumbai-based Chitah Jeet Kune-Do Global Sports Federation. He will conduct the training and seminar in association with Empty Hand Combat President Master Sifu Cosmo Zimik whose specialties include Thaing, Bando, Naban and Banshay, and special guest Dr. Daniel Nuzum - Master in Kenpo and patterns of the International Taekwon-Do Federation.

Shetty has taught self-defense to more than 400,000 women across India as part of his "NIRBHAY  WOMEN EMPOWERMENT TRAINING PROGRAM". He has also trained hundreds of underprivileged homeless children on the streets of India, some of who are now experts enough to conduct martial art classes of their own, while some others are getting advanced training in Chitah Jeet Kune-Do.

In the film world, Shetty has trained four generation of Bollywood actors from Dilip Kumar, Dev Anand and Amitabh Bachchan, to Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgan, Hrithik Roshan, Sanjay Dutt, Suniel Shetty, Priyanka Chopra to Soha Ali Khan, Kareena Kapoor, Karishma Kapoor, and their sons and daughters. His star-studded students have appeared in over 150 movies.

Jackie Chan has personally appreciated Shetty's unique martial art technique. Sir Richard Attenborough trained with Shetty and went on to win his Gandhi a stunning 11 Oscars. Oscar-winning film-maker Ang Lee selected Shetty's student Ayush Tandon for LIFE OF PI. Shetty also directed memorable sequences in Chinese super-hit Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, Hollywood super-hero film Incredible Hulk and more.
