The upcoming Indian Bangla movie of Mainak Bhowmick is about the modern Bengalee, like his previous films (‘Amra’ and ‘Bedroom’).

Singer and composer Neel Dutt has collaborated with him for the first time in this Kolkata Bengali movie producing a placating music album with its five songs that are sure to win the audience with their soothing effect.

The Bengali audio songs music release was followed by an electrifying performance by Neel Dutt.

A lot of big names are associated with the album. The song ‘Nijeke valobashoTumi ebar…’ has been sung by Somlata Acharyya. The name of the person who has penned the lyrics of the song may bring a pleasant surprise to many - actor-director and intellectual multi-talented powerhouse Srijit Mukherji.

‘Dak Peon’ has been sung by Neel Dutt. Anshuman Chaktrabarty takes credit for the outstanding lyrics.

Rupankar Bagchi, one of the best selling singers of the Bengali music industry, has lent his voice for the song ‘Dekha Hobe’ while Souvik Mishra has written  the lyrics.

Beside the five songs the album also contains the ‘Maach Misti and More theme’ music track and a couple of karaokes.

Amyt Dutta is the music associate who also deployed his supremacy with the guitar for the songs. Debopratim Baksi has played the drums and Sanket Bhattacharya was in charge of Bass.

Souvik Mishra also takes credit for penning the lyrics of another song. The song ‘Majhe majhe’ has been sung by Timir. Lines like ‘Abar amar ami take lage keno chena chena’  and ‘ei chele manushitei, random khushitei chotbela take feli chuye’ are likely to make an impression with the audience.

The fifth song, i.e. ‘Ami Jodi bhir hoe jai’ has been sung by Ishita. The person who takes credit for the lyrics is another surprisingly pleasant name in the form of Rituparno Ghosh, the director famous for dealing with sensual themes.

Maach Mishti and More Bengali film songs soundrack OST Release

“This album is a break from the electronic sound that has been ruling the music charts for quite some time now and we wanted an acoustic feel. The scores are simple yet thrilling, thus creating symmetry between the music and the plot of the movie,” said Neel Dutt on the occasion.

Mainak Bhowmick said he feels the songs of the film have no age bar and will help connecting elder and the younger members of the society.
