Manas Bhattyacharya Launches 3rd Bengali Songs Album "Harie Jete chai", Reveals Next Projects

Kolkata, Dec 2, 2012 (Washington Bangla Radio) Eminent persons from the Music industry of Kolkata converged at Music Kafe on November 30 for the release of Indian Kolkata Bengali audio songs album “Harie jete chai” by Manas Bhattacharya. The album was released by Sidhu from Cactus, Saikat Mitra, Kaya's Arindam and Somnath Ghosal of Rooh Music. Harie jete chai was released by Rooh music which has been giving a platform to new and upcoming talented singers.

In a conversation with the music composer of the album, several facts about the album came into focus. The album consists of eight songs. “Ami sur hoe robo”, “tarana”, “harie jete chai”, “rituparna”, “Sraboner rimjhim”, “Debolina”, “Ja devi durga” and “Seemaheen ojanar adhare”. Four songs of the album have been sung by Manash. The other four songs in the album have been sung by Manasi Mukherjee and Rajdeep Chatterjee (of Indian idol and Khiladi 786 fame).

The lyrics of the album have been written by Mouparna Gupta, Anuradha Gupta and Mon Chatterjee. The songs portray different genres of music.

The album features a wide variety of songs expected to appeal to different choices of the audience. The recording of the songs have been done at J.M.D studio. Sudeep and Milon Pal take the credit for the editing of the songs.

On the release of his third music album, composer Manas Bhattacharya was excited and tensed on how the audience is going receive this album. His first album was “o ma” which was released by Purple Music. Kumar Sanu and Anwesha lent their voices alongside Manas in his debut Bengali album. His second album was “RM 20” which had a mixture of both Hindi and Bengali songs. ‘Harie jete chai ‘is his third album and the composer is expecting a good reaction from his listeners.

On being asked about his other ongoing projects, the composer revealed that he has lent his voice for a film titled “My gift” which will be exhibited in various International Film Festivals next year. He is also composing the music of another film under the banner of Red Carpet movies which will be released next year. Singers like Monali Thakur and Kunal Ganjawala will also be singing songs for that film. His next private album will also be releasing next year and has been given the tentative title of “RM 20 Volume 2”.

He has not yet received any offers to compose music for Bengali films. But the composer wants to compose music for Tollywood films in future if he gets good offers from the directors.

The composer even sang a few lines of the song “Debolina” which is from this latest album.

The guests present at the music launch spoke highly of the abilities of the composer. Saikat Mitra, Sidhu and Arindam highlighted different aspects of piracy due to which the sale of the albums suffer. Somnath Ghosal of Rooh Music also stressed on the issue that both the musicians and the music companies should work together for the success of the music album and for preventing privacy.
