IIDR & Society For Democratic Rights Observe World Human Right Day with "Suchetana" Seminar

Calcutta, Dec 7, 2011 (Washington Bangla Radio) To mark the occasion of World Human Rights Day on Dec 10, a Seminar named “ Suchetana” on Human Rights and its implementations will be organized jointly by Institute of Integrated Development and Research (IIDR) and Society For Democratic Rights.

The objective is to increase awareness of Rights Activists from different districts, NGO leaders, Social Workers and the Youth who will participate in the Seminar about issues covering Human Rights.

The Key Speakers are:

Ms. Sabitri Mitra, Minister In Charge Women & Child Development, Govt. of West Bengal

Soumen Mitra, Member of Parliament , Government of India

Pradip Bhattacharya , Member Rajya Sabha , Government of India

Ms. Shikha Mitra, Honorable Member Legislative Assembly,Government of West Bengal

Col.Sabyasachi Bagchi, Chairman West Bengal Small Industries Development Corporation Limited (A Govt. of West Bengal Undertaking)

Ms. Chandrima Bhattacharya, Vice –Chairperson, Women Commission, Govt. Of West Bengal

Ms. Gargi Banerjee, Chairperson – Women Cricket Selection Committee, Board of Cricket Control of India on behalf of IIDR Ms. Gargi Banerjee will also be felicitate for her achievements and contributions in Indian Cricket
