In the world, there is very rare to find an area which has or had no AIDS (acquired immune deficiency syndrome) present at all.

The HIV (human immunodeficiency virus) causes the AIDS. Though this particular virus (the human immunodeficiency virus)was found in the blood collection of 1959,but we firstly recognised the HIV and the AIDS in 1981only.

Just because of this human immunodeficiency virus, people have to lost their immunity powers and can also transmit this human immunodeficiency virus through the blood or the sexual fluids(the semen, and the vaginal and the cervical secretions) as a matter of fact.

The cancer of the lining of the blood vessels, the retinitis and the blindness caused by viral infection, the protozoan infection which can affect the central nervous system too,and tuberculosis, pneumonia, candidiasis, severe herpes etc.(the every type of diseases actually) are the results of the HIV infection (or by the depressed immune system)in reality.

The human immunodeficiency virus or the HIV is not spread by any insect, like mosquitoes etc. No one will get infected by the human immunodeficiency virus or the HIV by sharing the toilets, the cups etc.

There are the three significant routes of transmission for the human immunodeficiency virus only - (1) the first is from the infected blood or blood products (2) the second is from the sexual fluids(the semen, and the vaginal and the cervical secretions) of the infected person (3) the third is from HIV-positive mother to the baby during the pregnancy and the delivery and by feeding the breast milk too.

The Gay men, drug addicted people, the sex workers(the Vaginal intercourse,the Anal intercourse,the Oral sex - everything is risky without the proper protection), people,who use the blood products, the baby who is in the womb or feeding the breast milk of an infected woman etc. have the risk to be infected by the human immunodeficiency virus in fact.

We can try to treat the HIV infected people with the help of Antiretroviral therapy and many new anti-HIV drugs etc. But the prevention is al ways the best way than the cure. So,the safe sex (in any form of sex in which the human immunodeficiency virus or the HIV does not able to pass from the blood or semen or vaginal fluids of one person directly into the bloodstream of another person),use of safe injections etc. are the best ways to survive from the HIV infection as a matter of fact.

But,firstly. what we need, that is the proper awareness about the HIV and the AIDS too.
