Tantra is now reportedly being utilized in dating in Europe.

Tantra is said to be an activity in such dating where each session is guided by a tantric expert and the participants just follow his/her instructions, and where Tantra is employed as “the art of meeting, the science of relationship”. The advantages claimed include non-verbal contacts, honoring the goddess in the woman and god in the man, dropping social masks, safety, reduction of self-consciousness, atmosphere of celebration.

Each such two-and-a-half hour session costs around $33 per participant. Tantra teachers are also giving out tips on how to be more attractive.  

Acclaimed Hindu statesman Rajan Zed, in a statement in Nevada (USA) today, urged Europeans to treat Tantra with reverence as Tantrism was a major channel in Indian religious traditions and besides Hinduism, it also exerted considerable influence on Buddhism and Jainism.   

Zed, who is president of Universal Society of Hinduism, pointed out that Tantra, a method of spiritual self-culture, was divine revelation whose history went back to fourth century. Tantra was a conscious approach to self-discovery which directed the seeker to prepare mind and body to the level where it could withstand any turbulence, both inner as well as outer. Tantras noted three unique states of sadhana (spiritual endeavor)—purification, illumination, and unification; Rajan Zed added.
