Those who follow the STAR Jalsha TV Serial "Bou Katha Kao" are familiar with the character of "Mouri". This role is played by actress Manali Dey, who will break into the world of Tollywood cinema with her first role in a full length bengali feature film in the upcoming Bangla Sci-Fi thriller Rajodrohi.

The couple of Mouri and Nikhil (played by Riju Biswas) is fairly popular with the audience of Bou Kotha Kao. Manali Dey and Riju Biswas also delivered a fair performance at the season premiere of DANCING STARS on STAR Jalsha, with Jisshu Sengupta. Dancing Stars is a dance-competition reality show directed by Tarun Chopra of Swyamwar fame and produced by Jisshu and Nilanjana Sengupta. The judges are Tota Roy Choudhury and Kamalika Guha Thakurta who memorably played Gayatri chachi in  Indian television blockbuster "Kyunki Saans Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi".
