"Education is an admirable thing, but it is well to remember from time to time that nothing that is worth learning can be taught." - Oscar Wilde

Mumbai, Nov 2, 2011 (Washington Bangla Radio) There are many different ways of learning; teaching is only one of them. A great deal can be learned on our own, in independent study or play. A great deal can be learned while interacting with others informally or sharing what we are learning with others and vice versa. We learn a great deal by doing, through trial and error.

Most of what is taught in classroom settings is forgotten, and much or what is remembered is irrelevant. With a perspective to change and plan today for the future, Zee News and Mount Litera Zee School together have announced Future of Education Summit 2011.

It is an initiative to improve human capital and aims to cater to the growing needs of quality education in the city and its surrounding areas.

The nation-wide interschool activities are being conducted by Mount Litera Zee School in various cities which are designed to build up momentum around the Future of Education Summit.

These activities are aimed at improving children’s skills and awakening aesthetic sense. All of these build up to ‘Future of Education Summit 2011’ scheduled to be held at Oberoi in New Delhi on 14th November 2011.

This is a perfect opportunity to showcase the talent of the future generation on a national forum.
