ISB&T Films' Bandematram (2010) Screened At Kolkata International Film Festival (KFF)

Calcutta, Nov 17, 2010 (Washington Bangla Radio / PRLog) Bandematram 2010 is a short poetry film inspired from Bankim Chandra Chatterjee’s Anandamath. The film has several USPs. The top one is, it  is a first kind of poetry film  based on the story of passion for Mother Earth, exploring the world of religion, rebellion, love. Bandematram 2010 is directed by Sri Joydip , whose first documentary “Wisdom Stimulus – Application of Bhagvad Gita in Management”, get nominated for the International film festival on Spirituality organized by Culture Unplugged Studios.

The story searches the true meaning of the  love for Mother and the  souls journey to Planet Earth to find it. Talking about the film Sri Joydip remarked “The film is a tribute to Bankim’s literary genius, and also the poetic glory of the famous song Bandematram, which was a part of his novel Anandamath, which inspired Sri Joydip very much, right from his childhood”. Sri Joydip also added that he is planning to make a full length English feature film, which is going to be released in next year , and whose script he has already registered with  WGA( Writers Guild of America).
