US Embassy & Consulates In India - Thanksgiving Closure Nov. 25 & 26, 2010

Calcutta, Nov 12, 2010 (Washington Bangla Radio) The U.S. Embassy in New Delhi as well as the U.S. Consulates General in Mumbai, Kolkata, and Hyderabad will be closed for the Thanksgiving holiday on Thursday, November 25, as well as Friday, November 26.

The U.S. Consulate General in Chennai will be open for appointments only on Friday, November 26.

U.S. citizens living or traveling abroad are encouraged to enroll with the nearest U.S. Embassy or Consulate through the State Department's travel website so that they can obtain updated information on travel and security.  U.S. citizens without Internet access may enroll directly with the nearest U.S. Embassy or Consulate.
