Indian TV Channel NDTV Imagine's Hindi TV drama show "Jyoti" is a portrayal of feminine bravery under oppression and staggering social and personal disappointments. Actress Sneha Wagh plays the title character "Jyoti" who goes through a myriad of catastrophes in her emotional, family and social relationships, and shows determination and bravery. The eldest of three daughters and a son, barely in her teens, Jyoti had to become the primary bread-winner for her family when her father became disabled. Having Jyoti's dreams, wishes and talents suppressed is in the interest of many people for various reasons.

Jyoti is aired on NDTV Imagine on weekdays at 7 PM Eastern USA time.
