Kali Puja is a festival dedicated to the Goddess Kali, where firecrackers and fireworks light up everywhere. Kali Puja is celebrated with special gusto in the state of Bengal by Bengalis.

Simchat Torah

Simchat Torah (also Simchas Torah, Hebrew: שמחת תורה, lit., "Rejoicing with/of the Torah,") is a celebration marking the conclusion of the annual cycle of public Torah readings, and the beginning of a new cycle. The last paragraph followed by the first paragraph of the book of Torah are read, since there is no end to reading the Torah.
