Kolkata, October 7, 2012 (Washington Bangla Radio / Penning Creations): Writer-director Rudranil Chowdhury launched his Indian Bengali movie “Shudhu Tomaake Chaai” with it's premiere at Nandan in Kolkata on 5th October. The cast and crew of the film were present for this occasion.

The star cast of the film is a well thought-out mix of veterans and new comers: Soumitra Chatterjee, Sabyasachi Chakraborty, Saheb Chatterjee, Bhaswar Chatterjee, Subhrajit Datta, Soumili Biswas, Mumtaz Sorcar, Arpita Mukherjee and new comer Tilottama Dutta.
The premiere was attended by the actors Bhaswar Chatterjee, Subhrajit Datta, Soumili Biswas and Arpita Mukherjee with the director Rudranil Chowdhury and producer Pranab Kumar Banerjee.
The director said his entire team and he have worked hard on Kolkata Bengali movie "Sudhu Tomake Chai" and he is hoping for a positive response and appreciation for his team from the audience. The actors also did very good work all in their respective roles and he liked their work.
Actors Bhaswar Chatterjee and Subhrajit Datta had a lot of fun while shooting for Tollywood Bangla film "Shudhu Tomake Chai" but also worked hard to get in to their characters in the film. They also expressed confidence the love story will be liked by all.

After the film was screened, audience reaction seemed to mixed - some were not much satisfied with the story though they were quite happy with the performances of the veteran actors. The film's credits includes some great names that attracted them to the theater, but the response was not universally encouraging.
