Mumbai, Oct 18 (IBNS) India’s leading eCommerce marketplace eBay has put cricket icon Sachin Tendulkar’s bat for bidding this week.

 

In association with non-governmental organization (NGO) Make-A-Wish Foundation, eBay has started bidding for an autographed cricket bat by Master-Blaster Sachin Tendulkar. 

 

The proceeds from the charity auctions will benefit The Make-A-Wish Foundation of India, which is dedicated to granting the most cherished wish of children who live with life-threatening illnesses.

 

Deepa Thomas, Senior Manager, Pop Culture, eBay India said, “We encourage Sachin fans to bid generously as all the proceeds will benefit a noble cause & brighten up lives of young children.” 

 

The charity auction started on October 11 and will be ending on October 21. Bidding on the auction started at Rs. 1,001.
