"Audience numbers continue to rise every year. It's no small achievement that since the festival's inception in Amsterdam in 2003, the event has traveled to Tokyo, and now to the United States," explains Mitrasing. "The program will be divided into sessions of two or three films, each of which focus on a common theme. The films will be screened at the Quad Cinema in Greenwich Village, at the cultural heart of Manhattan. The Quad is the perfect venue for the first American screenings, as its audience is made up of passionate moviegoers eager to see the best in independent, foreign and documentary films."
