The Bangla Youth Project by AKS has been released worldwide on 2nd September 2010. BYP shall be releasing globally at the same time including Bangladesh (G-Series), India (U-Tunes) and i-tunes (Worldwide). The songs from the album have already become popular amongst the Youth.

The Bangla Youth Project is composed and produced by a popular music composer, producer and DJ, AKS, who has already given hit remixes in Bollywood Films like Awarapan, Race, Kismat Konnection, Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani and 2010 hit soundtrack Prince.

AKS and the BYP are an energetic team whose music defines the sound of todays Youth across the globe with songs in Rock, Hip-Hop, Pop, RnB,Bhangra. Bangla Youth Association is a dubai based student organisation founded by Salim Parvez, which promotes Culture in the Middle East.

The album Kicks of with "Thamate Parbena", a song with an attitude featuring popular singer Upol Islam (“Bonno and Gonga” fame) and the young talented rapper, SkibKhan (from Deshi MCs). The song begins with catchy synth hook and a deep bassline, this Hip-Hop track talks about cars, need for speed and the faced paced lifestyle in Dhaka City.

Well, maybe it does otherwise it would not be possible for Sushanta Mukherjee, a retired Additional Commissioner of Income Tax to bring out a new puja album called ‘Amaar Ami’ where not only has he written the lyrics and composed the songs , but he has also sung one of the songs himself.

There are 11 songs in the album where other than the single song sung by Sushanta Mukherjee, the others like Rupankar, Lopamudra Mitra, Sreeradha Banerjee, Supratik Das and Indranil Sen have all sung 2 songs each.

Robert Francis - UK Release Of Album 'Before Nightfall'

Introducing the American multi-instrumentalist, singer-songwriter Robert Francis, who is set to release his forthcoming album 'Before Nightfall' on 29th November via Atlantic Records.

Halcyon Digest, the fourth studio album by Atlanta four-piece Deerhunter, is released this week on CD, LP and digital download.

CALCUTTA, India, Sep 25, 2010 (Washington Bangla Radio USA) On 25th September, 2010, at Princeton Club, Kolkata, new avatar of Bengali Music; Purple Leaf Entertainment has launched 1st album of songs by renowned actor, Tapasi Roy Chowdhury.

The album, produced by MAM Productions, is dedicated to Tapasi’s musical Gurus, her father Nilotpal De and Smt. Jayati Bagchi.

CALCUTTA, India, Sept 25, 2010 (Washington Bangla Radio USA) On 20th September, 2010, at Kalakunj, Kalamandir, Kolkata, new anchor of Bengali Music - Purple Leaf Entertainment - has launched their collection for Sharadiya, 2010 as “Sharad Arghya” officially.

Subrata Dutta, Vice President, Indian Football Association (IFA), was the guest of honour their and eminent elocutionist Prabir Bramhachari anchored the show.

The surprise was launching of veteran Tollywood Kolkata Bengali cinema actress Debashree Roy as a singer. She was present that evening. Under the guidance of Robin Mukherjee, she has released her Rabindrasangeet album “Tar Duarey”.
