NEW DELHI, January 24, 2012 (Washington Bangla Radio) This Indian Republic day, Veecon music creates history with the biggest ensemble of artiste’s rendering the iconic "VANDE MATARAM" epitomising India’s unity in diversity by bringing together as many as 21 of India’s finest singers and musicians to celebrate a fresh new version of India’s national song.

Alejandro Sánchez-Samper has produced a new compilation CD recorded in Kathmandu in 2011 titled "Nepali Ho: Contemporary and traditional music of Nepal". The album features music by 1974 AD, Kutumba, Subani Moktan, and UR jazz and others and is available on iTunes and Amazon . Physical CD's are availaable at www.siganepal.com. A portion of the proceeds of the album will go towards a music scholarship at the Kathmandu Jazz Conservatory and support the ongoing construction of Jyotidaya Cooperative School through Sarvodaya USA.
