Shobha De launches P.T.O by Y. by Siddharth Reddy

Mumbai, 6th December, 2010 (Washington Bangla Radio / Online PR News) Eminent author and columnist Shobha De will launch, ‘P.T.O’, A Book Comprising 100 Inspiring and Humorous Quotes at Gallery BMB,Mumbai. The book is Siddharth Reddy’s debut book and a unique effort. The book has already been applauded by several dignitaries and media about its refreshing look at life.

The author began writing this book in hope to remind us, as we bustle through life, about the bigger meaning of what it truly means to be alive. To find the potential within each one of us, and in each other. To celebrate what makes us unique and what connects us as entities sharing the same existence. To find out what sets our hearts on fire, and instills peace in the mind. To encourage ourselves to see the magnificence that lies in all the potential in the universe and to create the possible out of what seems to be impossible. Having a sense of humour while we are at it only makes the whole process ultimately and uniquely human.

Suketu Mehta's Maximum City: Bombay Lost and Found | Aamir Khan in Film by Danny Boyle

By B. McEwan

Brooklyn, NY, Dec 8, 2010 (Washington Bangla Radio) This book is aptly titled because everything about Bombay/Mumbai does indeed sound "maximum." Twenty-three million people in a space that should accommodate more like 10 million. People living in extreme poverty, sleeping on the city's footpaths and bathing near an open sewer. Police shooting suspected criminals on sight, in what are euphemistically called "encounters." Commuters falling off the morning train because they are, literally, hanging onto the outside of the car by their fingers and toes. Bollywood film stars consorting with criminal gang members and throwing lavish parties where just the hors d'oeuvres would feed a poor man for a month.

Howard Hughes involved with botched wormhole portal experiments ? Chaplin Family Member Verifies Secret Government Project

New developments surface in Patrice Chaplin's stargate mystery! A group long thought to have been linked to the Vatican or the Habsburgs have now been revealed to include US billionaire Howard Hughes! In the 1930's German medievalist and Grail seeker Otto Rahn brought Hughes to Gerona, Spain. The legendary tycoon came to know of the region's natural stargates, entrances from other dimensions discussed in detail in Patrice's new book The Portal (Quest Books, Sept '10). In the 1960's Hughes sent CIA operatives to ransack private property holding related documents and artifacts. Did Hughes ever find and travel the portal located in the Pyrenees? Did Hughes employ legendary O.T.O member and jet propulsion pioneer Jack Parsons to assist in government projects aimed at creating artificial portals? Were the morbid accounts of the failed Philadelphia Experiment a botched attempt at constructing these artificial portals, or wormholes?

Chicago, IL (Washington Bangla Radio / PRWEB - Press Release) September 28, 2010: Patrice Chaplin's recent memoir The Portal: An Initiate's Journey into the Secret of Rennes-le-Château details the mysterious pre-Atlantean stargate sought after by Howard Hughes. Picking up where Patrice's previous memoir 'City of Secrets: One Woman’s True-life Journey to the Heart of the Grail Legend' leaves off, 'The Portal' discloses Patrice’s personal journey through this very real stargate.

In 2003 'City of Secrets' was in the process of being published in the UK. Jose Tarres, real-life custodian of the Holy Grail, great friend to remarkable talents such as Salvidor Dali, Jean Cocteau, Umberto Eco and Simone de Beauvoir, and forever the love of Patrice’s life, had suffered a near fatal heart attack. With Jose then in his seventies, the power of death as a silencer threatened the survival of his society’s guarded knowledge.

Interview - Deepak Chopra | Muhammad e-book release before physical book goes on sale | Mohammad: A Story of the Last Prophet

First Time HarperCollins Has Led with the e-book Edition

San Francisco, CA, September 9, 2010  (Washington Bangla Radio / PRWEB) HarperOne, an imprint of HarperCollins Publishers, announced today that it has authorized distributors to offer the e-book version of Deepak Chopra’s controversial new book Muhammad: A Story of the Last Prophet available for sale as early as today. Additionally, it is working to accelerate the on-sale date for the physical book, which is scheduled to be fully distributed by September 21. The move comes in direct response to mainstream media and blog postings that have been eager to bring Chopra, and his portrayal of Muhammad, into the larger national conversation about the proposed mosque and Islamic community center near ground zero in New York City. The decision to release the e-book ahead of the physical book marks the first time HarperCollins has led with an e-book publication.

“We are proud to publish books that respectfully represent new perspectives on the people and events who have shaped history and our culture,” said HarperOne Senior Vice President and Publisher, Mark Tauber. “e-books offer publishers increased flexibility to bring content to readers in response to accelerated demands.”
