Television actress Pallavi Purohit, who is currently playing the role of Mudhubala's mother on Color's popular daily soap Madhubala - Ek Ishq Ek Junoon, has reportedly been signed for Subhash Ghai's upcoming film Kaanchi. According to the sources, Pallavi would be cast opposite Mithun Chakraborty in this political thriller. The film would also star newcomers Kartik Tewari and Mishti.

Veena Malik promoted her upcoming film “Zindagi 50-50” in Kolkata with style. The actress has been promoting her film across several cities like Jaipur, Ahmedabad and her visit to Kolkata is part of this promotional tour. The film is slated to release on 24th May, 2013.

The two films “Monihara” and “Sesh Adhyay” are based on Rabindranath Tagore’s stories. Present at the music launch was Soumya Sarkar, Pulokita Ghosh, Tuhin Kumar and Juiee Sarkar.
