new india kolkata bengali movie

Bengali film Industry suffered a huge blow when ace filmmaker Rituporno Ghosh left for the heavenly abode a few days ago. The film industry got immensely poorer with the loss of the gem. But the creative genius had completed the shoot of his first (and unfortunately last too) detective genre masterpiece ‘Satyaneweshi’ in which he recreated the famous Bong sleuth Byomkesh Bakshi. The premiere of the film which is an adaption of the story ‘Chorabali’ from the Byomkesh Bakshi series took place at Priya Cinema Hall in a star studded affair. But the director was sorely missed by everyone and surely Rituporno’s presence could have made the premiere more gorgeous. The void which perhaps can never be fulfilled was highly perceptible at the premiere.
