Pune, India (Washington Bangla Radio): Chinmaya Mission’s music and dance gurukul to host performances by renowned dancers and musicians for Patrons from Mumbai and Pune to celebrate a year of its being.

Patrons of the performing arts in Mumbai and Pune have a lot to look forward to this weekend. Chinmaya Naada Bindu, a first-of-its-kind Gurukul for all the Indianperforming arts, is celebrating its first anniversary with the Naada Bindu Festival for the Arts, a 4-day Arts Immersion Retreat from September 18 to 21.

Yogi based in Mumbai claims to have solutions for health problems of Hollywood celebrities

Hindus want France President Nicolas Sarkozy to resign over the Roma (Gypsy) fiasco.

Hindu statesman Rajan Zed, in a statement in Nevada (USA) today, said that xenophobia and racism laden policies and comments of Sarkozy around Roma issue were bringing dishonor and humiliation to the great nation of France which was known for its high respect for human rights.
 
Despite the worldwide criticism, Sarkozy was adamantly continuing to dismantle Roma settlements and expelling them. Not only subscribing to racism and xenophobia, he was trying to export it to other European countries, Zed, who is President of Universal Society of Hinduism, argued.
