Designer Agnimitra Paul and critically acclaimed filmaker Subrata Sen recently came together to launch ‘A Thousand Unspoken Words’,  the debut novel of Paulami Dutta Gupta.

The event featured a special conversational series with the Union’s Chairman and BJP MLA Ram Kadam , General Secretary Gangeshwarlal Shrivastava (Sanju), Dinesh Chaturvedi (Daddu), Ashok Dubey, Vijay Khadechkar, Treasures Bhagwati Prasad Shukla, Senior Vice Chairman – Sharaffudin Mohammed, Vice Chairman – Tej Bahadur Yadav, Joint Secretary Rakesh Mourya (Munna) and Other guests who graced the occasion were actors Raza Murad, Ali Khan, Shivkumar Tiwari, Teena Ghai, Spiritual Guruji Kumaran Swami and others.

Internationally acclaimed Salsa dancer Neeraj Maskara won the 1st annual lifetime achievement award at the Berlin Salsa Congress in Berlin. One of the most sought after Jazz Ballet and Salsa dancers in Europe, Neeraj Maskara is also the founder of a global level dance platform ‘Bailamos’. This festival will take place in Mumbai for the first time in the month of April 2016. Neeraj will be joined by a veteran in the field of dance, Terence Lewis who is also the event’s brand ambassador.

The concept was brilliant, execution flawless in a first-of-its-kind tribute. Debojyoti Mishra brought familiar characters associated with Salil Chowdhury alive on the podium - from “Runner” and “Madhumoti” to “Anand”. These characters met each other in the different phases of the composer's life. The characters were played by leading contemporary theater actors and popular singers. Singers Rupankar, Anweshaa Dutta Gupta and Shovan Ganguly; actors Neel Mukherjee, Koneenica Bandyopadhyay, and members from Chetana Group Theater were among those on the stage. A whose-who of performers also included ace studio musicians.

The first IIFA Utsavam South-Indian Cinema Awards will light up Hyderabad's Gachibowli Outdoor Stadium for the two days of Jan 24 and 25. The gala celebration of Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam film industries will feature a whose-who of the four industries including Mahesh Babu, Chiranjeevi, Namrata Shirodkar, Tamannah Bhatia, Shivrajkumar, Naga Chaitanya, Shriya Saran, Adah Sharma, Kamal Haasan, Priyamani, Akhil Akkineni and many others. The Wizcraft team is all geared up to host IIFA Utsavam.
