To popularize the benefits of scientific knowledge, every year 28th February is celebrated all over India as National Science Day – NSD to mark the discovery of Nobel Prize winning Raman Effect by the great Indian Physicist Sir C. V. Raman in 1928 on same day. Raman Effect is a phenomenon in spectroscopy discovered by the eminent physicist while working in the laboratory of the Indian Association for the Cultivation of science - IACS, Kolkata. It’s indeed a matter of Pride that Chandrasekara Venkata Raman popularly known as CV Raman was the first Indian, Asian and non white to win the coveted Nobel Prize.

Pandit MR Jambunathan was no ordinary person. He translated all the four Vedas into easy Tamil, and authored many other books like Biography of Swami Dayanand Saraswati (Not Available) and Swami Shraddhanand Saraswati (Tamil and English) and translated books like Satyarth Prakash in Tamil.

Mumbai, July 16, 2012 (Washington Bangla Radio / PIB India) The first decade of the 21st century has seen a universal recognition for  spreading financial literacy among people.   Most of the countries  are adopting a unified and coordinated national strategy for financial education.  Given the fact that India is having large population, a fast growing economy with national focus on inclusive growth and an urgent need to develop a vibrant and stable financial system, it has become all  the more necessary to quickly formulate and  implement a national strategy.
