Some airlines of Asia have adopted “namaste” like greeting called “wai” as standard for greeting passengers, according to reports.

Hindus have applauded this gesture. Acclaimed Hindu statesman Rajan Zed, in a statement in Nevada (USA) today, said that greeting with a “namaste” like gesture was full of warmth and grace and it symbolized love and respect.
