লাকি আখন্দ ও আলাউদ্দিন আলিকে চেক প্রদান 
শিল্পীর পাশে ফাউন্ডেশনের শুভ সূচনা হলো

শিল্পীরা সমাজের শক্তি আর সুন্দরের প্রতিচ্ছবি। সামাজিক মানুষের উদ্যম আর আবেগ ধরাা আছে তাদের বুকে। কিন্তু শিল্পীর জীবনেও কখনও কখনও নেমে আসে দুর্দিন। তেমনি সময়ে প্রয়োজনীয় শক্তি আর সমর্থন নিয়ে শিল্পীর পাশে দাঁড়িয়ে যাওয়ার প্রেরণা থেকেই গড়ে উঠেছে শিল্পীর পাশে ফাউন্ডেশন। 

রাজধানীল হোটেল ওয়েস্টিনের বলরুমে আজ দুপুর ১২-৩০টায় সংস্কৃতিভুবনের সকল শাখার শিল্পীদের অংশগ্রহণে মিলনমেলা আয়োজনের মধ্য দিয়ে আনুষ্ঠানিক যাত্রা শুরু করে এই ফাউন্ডেশন। উদ্বোধনী আয়োজনে বাংলা সঙ্গীতভুবনের নীল মণিহার আকি আখন্দ এবং বাংলা গানে সুরের বরপুত্র সুরকার আলাউদ্দিন আলিকে ফাউন্ডেশনের পক্ষ থেকে সহায়তা চেক প্রদান করা হয়।

Dipashri Bardhan Biswas. is a reciter of Bengali poems. She has done stage shows in Delhi and Bangalore. 

Her she is sharing  'Konnya Slok' -  Recitation of the very famous poem (written by Mallika Sengupta) which is also known as 'Amar Durga' or 'Maa Tujhe Salaam'. Performed this, on Maha Navami, this Durga Puja. The power of Devi Durga & her hidden presence in every woman around us forms the crux of this poem.

With Durga Puja arriving in Kolkata, the restaurants and eateries in the city are dedicating a menu for the Puja days. Keeping in trend, Floatel, the only floating hotel in the state, launched its Puja Menu. The menu consists of traditional Bengali dishes from the era of ‘Babu Culture’ of Kolkata which was dominant during the British rule and is considered as a vital era of Bengal’s rich history.
