Amar Bodyguard, the latest Tollywood Indian Kolkata Bangla movie by Haranath Chakrabarty, is less spicy than his prior successful commercial  films. Though Chakrabarty has recently started to experiment with different genres (‘Chalo Paltai’, ‘Chayamoy’), Amar Bodyguard does not seem to be in one of them either.

Aparna Sen also said, “This has been my dream project and I have been planning to make this film for the past ten years. However due to one problem or the other, the project got delayed. I told Sohag about my plan to make this film at a restaurant in Mumbai. After completing each film, I would bring this topic up. However I have now understood that everything has a right time”.

Under such conditions, the shooting of Tutul Banerjee’s film “Jongi” continued with full enthusiasm at Select House in Narendrapur. The shots executed in Select House were for several sequences. Kolkata, March 28, 2013 (Washington Bangla Radio): The Music launch of Indian Kolkata Bangla movie ‘Amar Bodyguard’ took place at Jamuna Banquets in Kolkata. The film is directed by Haranath Chakrabarty and stars Ridhima Ghosh and Pratiek in the lead.
