Debutante director Aditya Roy Banerjee is all set with his upcoming movie “ITS BOSONTO” that opens in theatres on 11th March. Washington Bangla Radio correspondent Sovan Chakrabarty had a candid chat with the director who has also played a major role in the film.

Aakash Choya, a ZBC Originals film by acclaimed director duo Sudeshna Roy and Avijit Guha, will be aired on 13th March, 9pm Indian time on Zee Bangla Cinema TV channel broadcasting from Kolkata.

Aakash Choya stars Arjun Chakraborty, Ridhdhima Ghosh, Anindyo, Kushal Chakraborty and Mohua Halder. The film is a cinematographic adaptation of a short story by Procheto Gupta titled "Nadi". Presenting the full back story and Bengali film preview on WBRi.

Ambalika Sarkar, who debuts in Bollywood with Jab Tum Kaho, was previously a popular model in Kolkata. Speaking to WBRi, she said she misses Kolkata a lot, as it is her hometown and her family still lives here.

“I like the experience of the making of this film. I was nervous initially and but my director helped me a lot to overcome the difficulties. Overall it was very learning experience. This film will always remain special as it marks my debut in Bollywood.”

Talking of future projects, she said her next project ‘Awesome Mausam’ is coming very soon to theaters.
