Mahesh Bhatt has also announced a Hindi remake of Rajkahini with Vidya Balan in the role of Begum Jaan. The Hindi version will be shifted to India-Pakistan international border. The film will mark the Bollywood debut of Srijit Mukherjee. It is already in pre-production and keeping the director busy in Mumbai.
