One is the annual graduation fashion show of Global Institute of Fashion Design and the other is the Zonal round of LG’s largest annual cooking contest Mallika-e-Kitchen 2013. The two events provided scope to the participants to showcase their creativity in the respective fields.

“RED FM pe Sachin not out!” is a unique program started by Red FM, one of the most popular radio stations in the city. This initiative was meant to pay tribute to the master blaster Sachin Tendulkar. The station ran two hundred hours of non- stop Sachin Programming. For two hundred hours, 8.5 days, day and night, all the RJs of the channel have lived and breathed Sachin. RED FM is the “BajateRaho” station of the city and cricket is incidentally the “BajateRaho” sport of the nation.

The other is a photo exhibition by journalist Sourav Dutta on late singer Manna Dey.
