Film-maker Perla Faye Humphrey to direct film based on novel "And Yet, You Still Chose Me"

The producers of the film, Vishesh Films were supposed to release the Master Promo of the film in the 1st week of October, which is also the release week as the film releases on 8th October, however to their surprise, the promo is already leaked on Youtube and it left the Bhatts in a big surprise as this promo was one of the major assets in the promotional plan of the Bhatts, hence disturbing their set schedules promotional schedules. Now the Bhatts will be reshooting the promo and create something new and very different with a blend of already shot material that they have.

Columbia Gorge Film Fest honors TRANS/FORM (2010) Documentary Film on Transgender Females

The recent screening of the documentary has sparked agreat amount of media attention since the screening on August 20th.

The film Trans/Formed explores the lives of four transgender females of different ethnic backgrounds living in Los Angeles.  The documentary exposes the truths and challenges to the transgender community by revealing past horrors, present taboos and future dreams.

Journey to Mecca: In the Footsteps of Ibn Battuta IMAX documentary film released at Navy Pier, Chicago

Chicago, IL, September 20, 2010 (Washington Bangla Radio USA - 1888PressRelease): Journey to Mecca tells the story of Ibn Battuta (played by Chems Eddine Zinoun), a young scholar who leaves Tangier in 1325 on an epic and perilous journey, traveling alone from his home in Morocco to reach Mecca, some 3,000 miles to the east.

Ibn Battuta is besieged by countless obstacles as he makes his way across the North African desert to Mecca. Along the route he meets an unlikely stranger, the Highwayman (played by Hassam Ghancy) who becomes his paid protector and eventual friend. During his travels he is attacked by bandits, dehydrated by thirst, rescued by Bedouins, and forced to retrace his route by a war-locked Red Sea.
