Film-Review : SINS (2005) - Erotic Tale of Passion about Forbidden Love with a Priest

SINS (2005) Bollywood Movie PosterIn spite of the steamy sex scenes increasing in intensity in SINS (BUY DVD), the viewer gets the impression that the carnal relationships portrayed on the silver screen somehow meshes nicely into the storyline, and contributes in a big way to the film actually becoming an emotional thriller and not just a meaty sleaze-fest.

Given that the roles depicting desire are difficult to play, especially for relative newcomers in the star cast, Shiny Ahuja and  Seema Rahmani deliver commendable performances. Shiny Ahuja's alternating fits of lust and fury are carefully done, and Seema Rahmani portrays the entire gamut of emotions from sexual arousal through terror remarkably well.
