during the Easter holiday, Urban Screen will be showing British gangster
film DEAD MAN RUNNING at the Albany. The film stars a plethora of
talent including 50 Cent, Ashley Walters, Brenda Blethyn, Omid Djilali
and duo Tamer Hassan and Danny Dyer. The event will be given extra spice
as Tamer Hassan and Ashley Walters will be coming for the Q&A.

Lindsay Lohan asked to take-up trafficking issue worldwide as she promotes her India documentary

April 1, 2010 (Washington Bangla Radio) Hollywood diva Lindsay Lohan (Mean Girls) is promoting her documentary on child trafficking in India on Twitter and Indo-Americans are asking her to take this project seriously and worldwide.

Lohan posted on Twitter: “it's a massive world issue, & it goes on everyday. i just want people to recognize the more important things in the world-rather than gossip” and “my documentary for the BBC network is coming out soon...It's about child trafficking in India...I'd like to encourage everyone to watch it!!”

Iceland bans striptease shows

March 29, 2010 (Washington Bangla Radio) Hindus have applauded Iceland for banning striptease shows.
 
Hindu statesman Rajan Zed, in a statement in Nevada (USA) today, said that “it was a step in the right direction for Althingi (Iceland Parliament)”.
 
No votes were reportedly cast against this historic European first bill to ban strip shows. Except Vatican and Andorra, strip clubs reportedly operate across Europe.
