Filmfare magazine in their 4th August 2010 issue have declared the 2009 Powerlist - a list of the most powerful personalities in Indian film industry.

The most powerful actor continues to be Aamir Khan for the third year running. The other Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan continues to hold the number 2 spot.

It was a overcast Sunday morning. It was not raining though. Shemaroo has released English Title The Stone Council on DVD. Based on a novel by Jean-Christophe Grangé, The stone council is a suspense thriller, starring famous actress Monica Bellucci.

Oscar winner Hollywood actress Gwyneth Paltrow (Shakespeare in Love) has apparently removed tagline “nourish the inner aspect” from the title of her blog, which is now just reduced to “GOOP”.

The 3 IDIOTS iPhone App has reached the Top 25 iPhone apps list for downloads.

Directed by Rajkumar Hirani and produced by Aamir Khan, the Bollywood film 3 Idiots (Hindi, 2009) won 8 IIFA film awards and became one of the greatest Indian super-hit blockbusters in all time. The film is adapted from the novel Five Point Someone  by Chetan Bhagat. The star cast includes Aamir Khan, R. Madhavan, Sharman Joshi, Kareena Kapoor, Omi Vaidya, Parikshit Sahni and Boman Irani.
